Shhh - isaac/mox, apollo/kody
“I hate that I couldn’t have fucking caught on earlier.” Apollo said, feeling mixed emotions after a hard day. He had started college classes back up and had gotten one of the best teachers on campus for a math class he had failed last semester. He thought with the help of one of the best professors he could totally pass, but long story short after being asked to stay after class to go over a few things, he ended up having to call Kody in tears and having to report the professor and switch classes. Not only was the man flirting, but ignored Apollo saying he certainly wasn’t interested at all and also had a boyfriend. He didn’t seem happy at all about Apollo retorting, stating not only would he be quiet about it, but he’d also make sure Apollo passed his class regardless how he did. Of course Apollo denied still, and ended up going right to the office to switch classes. He had also texted Kody, and calling him in tears when he got home.
Luckily Kody always made things better. Feeling the other snuggling up to him in bed while watching a movie made the brunette feeling stable. “Like, I know I can be oblivious sometimes, but now that I think about it, the way he acted at the first class last week. I just thought he was being nice and complimentary.” He spoke, face snuggling into the other’s chest.
Laying in the hotel bed, Moxley could only feel sadness and confusion. He had brought Isaac to his parents for dinner of all places. They hadn’t seen each other face to face for a long time, and they had never meet Isaac. They knew he was engaged, to a man, but of course never expressed interest in meeting him. Then a week ago he had gotten a call, asking if Moxley could come for the weekend catch up, and Moxley told them only if he could bring Isaac. They lived a few hours away, and it was just easier to spend the night then drive early to and late back from.
It had started out actually alright. He didn’t know if it was a act or they were actually really happy to not just see him, but to meet Isaac, but he wouldn’t fight it. He was so happy with Isaac, and his parents would just have to understand that. That was trying to be tested when Moxley started talking about wedding plans, excitedly going on and on until long story short his parents expressed feeling uncomfortable. Of course Moxley being the well mannered man he was, toned it down, but his parents continued on. That’s when the argument started, and soon Moxley wanted out. That’s how the two of them ended up in the hotel room. Too emotional to even make the few hour drive back home.
It was hard, and Moxley was experiencing every bad emotion on the spectrum if possible, though in a moment’s notice he felt arm wrap around him, and suddenly something told him everything would be okay. He loved his parents in a way, yes, but at this point he loved Isaac more than anything. He knew as long as he had him by his side at the end of the day, his parents didn’t matter too much. So Moxley moved to snuggle the other back, pressing appreciative kisses all over the male’s face. “Thank you. Not just for this, but for everything.”
