Danny turned with his ice cream to watch as Hayden apologised and left the ice cream parlour, his eyes fixed onto his arse then the curls in the back of his hair as he ate his ice cream. Not a bad place to look at gorgeous men here was it?
He was about to turn away when he noticed the blonde sitting by himself, looking a bit defeated. "Why so glum chum?" Danny asked, licking the strawberry ice cream. "Was that your date?" He pointed in the direction Hayden went.

Danny was preoccupied with fact that nearly tripping had given him a bit of a shock when Eric asked that, he looked up at him with a frown. Okay... interesting turn of events from taking a walk. "Eric, what are you talking about?" Danny's expression turned to one of confusion now.

If one good thing had come out of that weird shared dream, it was the start of their friendship so instead of expecting to see Eric around when he came in after work, he would go straight to where he knew Jannik would be and greeted him with a smile.
"Evening." Then Danny sat himself down, not seeing that a deal was going down right in front of him.

He's probably just here on business right? Danny thought to himself after he looked up from his table and spotted a familiar face among the late night punters, he was in two minds to go over there or just stay where he was, especially after last time and the weird dream he had a while back.
Danny accidentally caught Eric's eye and groaned to himself, turning away to make it look like he was busy as he straightened up the cards at his table. "I'm busy. Unless you want to play blackjack then yeah, I'm busy." He kept his gaze on the table.

"I know I shouldn't really be asking this, but it's been months and she's always on my mind but... how is Angie doing?" Danny asked as he read one of the notes on the bridge, something that was unsaid until now.

"Colder than bloody Southend out there." Danny shook himself off then took his scarf off, shoving it in his coat pocket then ruffled his hair up some. Up until now, Danny had managed a little bit of small talk with the other people staying here in the gull hotel and seeing Nathan coming his way, he gave a small wave, time for some of that small talk. "Alright mate? You're Nate, right?"

Danny had originally come into the Church by accident while he was exploring this side of the city, this was the third time Danny had been drawn here and he didn't really know why, a presence, maybe? Either way, he sat down at the bar but didn't order anything because someone caught his attention so he looked at the bartender nearby. "Who is that guy?" The bartender just kept it vague by just telling him his name and left Danny to it. "Okay... thanks." Now what was he supposed to do? Go over there? Wait for him to notice him? While Danny was going over the options in his head, he accidentally caught the other man's eye and sharply turned back to the bar, wishing the ground would swallow him whole. Shit.
