It was only a small challenge to act like the death of Piper didnt affect him in the slightest. No one knew that he loved her and they were a team. Now the plans of killing Emma and the others had to change. Which Kieran didnt mind so much, it wasnt hard pretending that he was innocent and grieving over the loss of his father.

He sneaked out the back of the school one afternoon, venturing off to a run down farm that he was staking out to use as a trap. He walked in, making sure to shut the doors behind him but stopped suddenly in his tracks when he saw Billy. Fuck now his plan for that afternoon had to change. This was getting more than irritating.

Kieran had sadly begun to adjust to prison life and it didnt make him happy. He was able to adjust his personality enough to fool anyone into thinking he was harmless and not worth much of a second glance, much like what he started with in Lakewood. Though his plan for Lakewood had clearly not gone the way he hoped. Emma was free and alive and here he was, surviving off shitty food and phone calls with his attorney.

It was almost too easy for Kieran to escape during a transport for a court appearance. The two guards were now dead in a ditch and he was driving the van to the state line before abandoning it. He spent the night in a run down motel, getting a change of clothes and for once a private shower. He used the phone to call someone who he knew would come help him in landing a place to lay low.

When he heard the door, he silently checked the peep hole before opening it when he recognized the other. "Thanks for coming. You got here alot faster than i was anticipating." He smirked slightly. "Its weird not seeing someone in fucking orange."

Kieran hadnt even been locked up 3 months but he had to get out. The voice played over and over in his brain, "Hello Keiran, who told you you could wear my mask?". It was driving him crazy but not because he wasnt sure who it was. No, he didnt want that person going after Emma. She was his to kill and he would be damned if he was going to let that opportunity be stolen from him, especially when his first plan was ruined.

It took him less than a week to figure out a detailed plan on how to escape. For someone like Kieran, blending in was easy and no one paid him much attention. The question was, where would he go once he was past the razored fence. He couldnt return to Lakewood so quickly. Soon enough once he had escaped prison and found himself in a stolen car, he decided to go to someone that no one would think he knew.

That person happened to be Kol Mikaelson. He was careful not to keep in contact with Kol when he moved to Lakewood, on the chance he was caught, he needed places that they couldnt trace him to. He finally arrived in New Orleans toward the end of the week and found himself knocking on Kol's door. "I know. Wasnt expecting to see me." He said with a grin. He didnt have to put on a show with Kol, he could be his normal unstable self.

“What do you want? We have had our fun before but that’s over.” Kieran told Nina. He was still tense over the death of Piper and having to pretend to care about and be with Emma. “You know I’m with Emma.”
