7. What drew you to writing your current character(s)?

16. What is your favorite band/music genre?

I'm a metalhead and proud! My favourite subgenre is symphonic metal, but I enjoy most kinds of metal and hard rock music. As for bands, my favourite tends to change, even if usually is one out of a short list. Nightwish, Epica, Icon for Hire (they don't make metal, but their songs are very close to my heart), Within Temptation. More recently, also Citizen Soldier and Disturbed.

17. What is your favorite food?

Not to feed the stereotypes, but I'm gonna give a very Italian answer to this question xD Namely, spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil. I could live off on those, if it was humanly possible. ...Full disclosure, all my favourite dishes are Italian, aside from sushi.

This is definitely interesting. Not many boxes are fully crossed, but the ones that are and the maybes open up a few doors. There's room for him to get some entertainment here.

"A-Are you sure that I am t-the pain in the ass? B-Because this is coming from someone w-who just admitted they don't know h-how to have a good time," he points out and he's sounding way smugger than he has any right to be. "M-Maybe it won't hurt that much, i-if you learn to loosen up.~"

It takes Rick a good deal of self-control not to choke on his breath at the question. This is why he never participates in groups outings. Every time he has, someone has asked him the wrong question or he has ended up saying something he has deeply regretted and, as he should have expected, this time has been no exception.

There's a lesson here and he has no one but himself to blame for not having learnt it yet.

"I...It's really no one's business, but ours." Not that he would have had an easier time answering if he had been alone with the Utrom, of course, but that's for him and him alone to know. "An-And that's...Bishop is a smart, skilful, eclectic being, r-reducing him to a number is disrespectful."

He's stalling and he's aware of it, just as he has no doubts that everyone else can tell, but to hell with that. It's not going to stop him from sticking to that route.

"S-So, for the record, I don't approve of this...rating thing." It's not a lie, he honestly doesn't, even if in this particular moment he's using it as a convenient excuse. "B-But if I have to answer, I-I guess he's a...uh...smoochable 10? O-Or however I'm supposed to word it."

There, he said it. Now he's going to disappear in a black hole, thank you very much.

Subprime? Seriously? Of all the people they could have asked about, they picked the annoying, delusional, grumpier bubblegum? Rick is used to people striving to make his life harder, but this feels like a low blow. It's not even fun enough to make up for it.

A heavy, almost exaggerated, scoff leaves his lips and he makes a show of rolling his eyes. He wants anyone who hears his answer know how lame he thinks the question is. Because, honestly? If this was supposed to be a challenge or an attempt at getting him to admit some dirty little secret, then it's been a total failure.

"A-Are asking how smoochable that ugly, sexy motherfuker is? F-For fuckin' real?" He says, in the most unimpressed tone he can conjure. Which is probably the most unimpressed tone this universe has ever heard. "C-Can't you just take a look at him an-and answer the question yourself? G-Geez."

Is there some weird, twisted tension between him and that brainhole? Maybe, but that's no one else's business. Is it relevant for the question? It should be, but he has decides that it is not.

"H-He's lucky because I'm feeling generous today, s-so I'll be merciful and say nine. An-And also that I hope that he'll choke on that stick h-he has up his brainstem. I-Ideally while I'm watching, s-so me laughing at him will be the last thing he sees. G-Good fuckin' riddance."

Another day another theft was boring but least Xever was free. No longer was he tied down by anyone or anything. Bradford was gone, along with the Shredder. Xever was sure the others survived but the fishman hadn't exactly been friends with any of them. Sure, he had done those Mister X events to allow the mutants a place to relax and enjoy death races. Because who doesn't love death races? No one!

Which made it more awkward when Xever's former "friends" were now trying to do good and ended up running into Xever. He was stealing some money from a store. Thankfully no one was around, Xever tended to be one who struck when no one was around. That took way more skill and was full of pressure. Yet, now as the fishman was leaving he saw the other two mutants blocking his way out.

"Woah, is that...Bebop and Rocksteady? What are you two doing here? I was here first you know? But, might share if you want it..."

It's said that tragedy leaves its mark upon those it affects, a grievance that only eases with the help of distance as those who remember continue on with their lives. For a man like Miguel, not only was that impossible, but losing his Gabriella had triggered a massive upheaval in the way he operated, going from a bereaved father to the leader of an interdimensional strike force in the span of just a few months, equipped with a strict directive; to not lose another world again, unless preordained in advance.

For, as much as he was loathe to accept it, there were some worlds-- entire realities, even --that had their ticket punched far in advance of Miguel showing up to intervene. Places that the multiverse had decided should be ended here and now, rather than spared. Racing against that ever present possibility, Miguel's forays across dimensions had landed him in one he's visited before. Only now, the company kept was different, and there hadn't been a need to explain himself as much, either.

Whether that's due to a difference in knowledge, or a sharing of encounters with a nearly seven-foot tall Spider, garbed in a futuristic costume, he can't say for certain. But without a doubt, it made what he had to say next all the easier to share; "Tell me, what you know of anomalies?"

Routine had marred his expectations, set the bar abysmally low for what he thought the stranger was capable of. Proven empathically wrong, rather than make a retraction, he bounded quickly to a follow up, pitching in with "I did, actually" whilst flashing empty scarlet palms to the stranger. By acting in this way, Miguel reduced the need to rely on the help of others, a skill that was integral to his work, no matter where in the multiverse he happened to land in.

"But I guess it doesn't mater now." For a limp body of unknown origin was stretched out before them, taken down with what could only be described as the creative use of a wrench, wielded offensively. The same tool laid discarded now, right alongside the body, jaw end still coated in a substance that sported the characteristics of blood in all but colour.

"Usually this is the part where I say I can handle this... but what exactly are we dealing with here?" The term infestation came readily to mind, but the Spider refused to use it. If this was meant to happen in the history of this reality's sequence of important events, then he'll need to tread very carefully, going forward. "Got any idea?"

Rick's eyes go wide at the question and it takes him a great amount of self-control not to start spluttering in response to it. He might have lost most of his dignity already, in several occasions, but he's very adamant on clinging to the little bit of it he has left.

This line of inquiry, however, is making it much more difficult that it normally would be. The guard isn't used to discussing his personal life. He's a private person, one who's very inclined to politely tell people to mind their own business. The only ones with who he talks about his private things are AR and E-Rick, and even with them he needs to some convincing.

In addition to that, Bishop feels like a subject that demands an extra layer of privacy, especially with the uncertainty that's still hanging between them. They have gone on dates, even if they never called them that. They have kissed a few times. Yet, he still has no idea of what they are to each other. Pining friends? Courting? Something else he can't think of?

Hell if he doesn't wish he knew the answer to that.

"I-I...He's..." He starts, tripping over his words as he tries and fails to make sense of the too many thoughts that are filling his head. "B-Bishop has a lot of...uh...admirable traits. T-There's a lot of things I like about him."

But that's not what he's being asked, is it? This is about something he finds attractive about the other. The mere idea of talking about the Utrom in those terms makes him flustered.

"I...This is going to sound, uh, stupid, b-but I find his...professionalism appealing. I-I guess it's the...serious and focused attitude, h-his determination, h-how he acts when he's a guy with a mission w-who won't stop at nothing until he has gotten the job done."

It's something he finds relatable too, but when it comes to the alien, the whole thing takes a much more alluring hue.

"S-So, uh, one more reason why I-I like working with him?"

Shoot him dead now. After that lame joke, he's going to seal his lips shut and never speak of this again.
