The jewelry heist in paris 💍

Learned something wild today — thieves stole some of the queen’s jewelry from the louvre in paris! 💎 Feels like something out of a spy movie, but it really happened...

How It Happened:

Around 9:30 am, just after the museum opened, four masked thieves disguised as workers used a basket lift to access a second-floor window. Once inside, they smashed glass displays with angle grinders and seized eight valuable items, including:

An emerald necklace and earrings once worn by Empress Marie-Louise

A tiara and brooch belonging to Empress Eugénie

Jewels from Queens Marie-Amélie and Hortense

Remarkably, they dropped Empress Eugénie’s crown during their escape, and the famed Regent Diamond was left untouched.

The thieves fled on motorbikes, leaving behind tools and a basket lift. The museum was evacuated and remains closed for investigation. French authorities have launched a manhunt, and 60 detectives are on the case. Security lapses, including unsecured windows and accessible equipment, are under scrutiny. Esta es la historia de la niña más desinteresada en arte del mundo que visitó un museo con sus padres y fue confundida por una gran amante del surrealismo. Georges, un hombre de cuarenta y tantos la vio mirando fijamente una pintura. Observó a la niña por lo menos durante quince minutos y allí seguía ella, con la mirada hambrienta de conocimiento, la  templanza de una monja, el interés de una universitaria, la necesidad de una artista. Aquél hombre estaba entusiasmado por la curiosidad artística de la niña y abandonó la sala con una gran sonrisa creyendo que mientras los niños se interesen por el arte, nada está perdido. La niña, siguió contemplando con atención el mosquito que llevaba rato ahuyentando de sus brazos descubiertos y que, finalmente, se había posado sobre aquél cuadro, desde donde podía vigilarlo.
