“Ah...” What a hassle this already felt like. She continued to rub her hand against her neck, a habit she always had whenever she felt stress creeping upon her. This really was something, huh. It wasn’t a dream like she had hoped for, and no matter how many times she tried to convince herself it was, it wasn’t working at all.
Was she supposed to stay optimistic about this? There was no way she could, can she? After all, the world was announced to be gone. What a terrifying thought that was... Although the voice had assured them that their loved ones were safe... how could she just blindly believe in that?
Every part of her limbs went numb, and she felt her throat go dry. She then averted her gaze at the mark on her hand, as if it were branded by a hot iron. Unbelievable, this was totally unbelievable.
“So this is how it’s going to be from now on... It doesn’t feel right at all.”
