Its the day akechi shoots akira :3!!!!!! The interrogation room scene!!!! I actually honestly love this day- because its. The moment where you Finally catch up to the present day, the whole game before this was a flashback and now you the player are caught up to the protag- and the overall day is. So intense and interesting
And then he. "Dies"- his true rival- the one person who is Just like him (two sides of the same coin) s h o o t s him. Kills him. Frames it as a suicide
Even tho this twist can be seen from MILES away theres- to me at least- a h u g e impact it gives you- you nurture and grow akechi social link- you see them grow soso close to each other and see how they relate to one other (even b e f o r e the engine room and maruki) to the point its. I want to say intimate but I don't know how to explain w h y- but to me it i s
You see this twist- the protag is Aware of the upcoming betrayal- but still. Hangs out and gets to know his killer- because he still c a r e s - and akechi thinks he hides it so well and at the end. Hes tricked- the protag survives, he lives becuase he k n e w what akechi was planning to do and was able to plan around it- because thats his true rival, his other half- bassically- so he Knows him- and its intimate in a way
But it is. In an odd way my favorite day of this game- the day where you catch up to the protag, the day it solidifies your team, what akechi is to the protag- it also brings some of my FAVORITE ANGST and thats from a person who Doesnt Read Angst- at the end its just. My favorite day
