Sav/Raya (cus I'm weak for shippy stuff) [Puts head on the other’s shoulder]
The Undercroft was taking its toll on him, Savill thought, as his rubbed at his eyes with crackled knuckles. There was a joke somewhere between the dry cracks on the back of his hands where they bled from the cold and the amount of blood magic it took to finish the Inquisition’s demands. It wasn’t funny how little enough he had left over to warm himself when he lifted his attention from his experiments and found himself stiff from the freezing winds coming in.
Forge or no forge, Skyhold’s surrounding mountains and its snowstorms were no match.
At least the library had four entire walls and books to make it seem like he was still doing his job in the warmer, upper halls. Drafts still came wheezing through where old bricks had come loose from their mortar and windows with cracks as old as their glass, but they were nothing compared to the Undercoft’s open view.
Savill glanced at the back of his hand when he turned the page. He flexed his fingers and with a small push of magic, sped up his blood’s clotting until there was nothing but thin scabs. He ran a finger over them with a yawn before closing the book. He hadn’t been able to read the words with much clarity in the first place.
“I almost got worried when I couldn’t find you below,” Savill heard Raya say, and he stretched his legs before shifting over on the couch. He pat the open space besides him. “I thought maybe Fahleon had enough of you and threw you in the dungeons again.”
Savill snorted. “It’s good to see you, too, scilia. You always have the nicest words for me.”
“Of course!” She made herself comfortable and picked up the book he’d put down. She raised a brow. “Recounts of the Priests of Dumat’s Temple?”
“It is, unfortunately, not as an exciting read as the title suggests.” At least, he thought. He wasn’t sure what if he’d picked it up because of Corypheus’ mention of if it was because it was one of the only several written by Tevinter scholars. He scratched at his stubble. Not that it mattered now. He wondered if Raya was waiting for something to finish baking. He frowned. When was the last time he ate?
Raya tossed the book back onto the table and he blinked, hard, out of his thoughts. It wasn’t worth the effort to try to remember the past few days outside of what progress he’d made with the red lyrium samples.
He glanced at his hands again. There were no signs of any sort of infection from them, and the scabs were already pulling themselves away as the skin healed beneath them. He lifted a brow. And the color was coming back to his fingertips.
In fact, he’d felt warmed up the moment Raya arrived. That spell of hers, so wasteful but so convenient, to be able to keep a tight ball of warmth around herself in even the chilliest wind.
Savill sunk further into the couch with another yawn. It was hard to resist closing his eyes when it was quiet and he was warm and Raya babbled on about Skyhold’s gossip in that soft voice of hers. He hummed when he felt a hand in his hair and made himself comfortable when he found his head on her shoulder. It was an awkward angle, but he’d take the stitch in his side in exchange for a few more blessed moments. Good things never did come without their pain, anyway.
“There’s a pie that’ll be done by the time you wake up.” His stomach growled just at the thought of it.
“Like I was saying,” he said. “The best words for me.”

“Don’t turn around. It’s behind us.”
“Don’t,” Zevran breathed, almost silent, if only because Levy wouldn’t listen to him no matter how loud he called out to him. Levy used to find it unnerving, the way the assassin could look into his eyes with his smirk and know his thoughts before they’d even fully formed. It was growing into a comfort now. More so, now. He wouldn’t have to waste his breath to explain his plan. He didn’t have much left in his lungs in the first place. “Amor, do not turn around-”
The staff shook in his hands as Levy used it to steady himself. A sliver worked its way deep into his thumb as his grip slipped down a crack in its worn surface. One more spell could break it for good. But it was only one more spell Levy needed to take down The Mother.
He wasn’t good at much, Levy knew that, as he felt the wood under his palms heat. He wasn’t brave or selfless like Alistair, or steadfast and stubborn like Morrigan. And Zevran... Zevran was too much to compare to, though he liked to think he had the better hair. It didn’t make up for his cowardice or his nerves as thin as string. He curled his fingers tighter, wincing, and caught a glimpse of the flames licking between his knuckles as the brood mother knocked another chunk of the ceiling free to rock him from his feet.
He wasn’t a good mage. He wasn’t much better of a Warden. A worse friend. A terrible lover, he thought, ignoring Zevran’s repeated set of pleas. The crackle of fire overtook what the shouts of Oghren and Sigrun called to each other as the stone above them continued to fall. He let it burn, hotter, brighter, further, until his hands turned red and cracked.
If there was one thing he was good at, it was setting fires.
Hello, yes, it is I, the garbage shipper. 74 for Sav and Raya plz?
Kisses Where One Person Is Sitting In The Other’s Lap
Savill lounged across one of the couches Raya’s cafe, feet propped up if only because the place was empty. That was the other half of the coin when it came to running a business in a tourist town, he supposed. Without the tourists, Haven turned into a ghost town. It was lucky for him that Raya was hauntingly beautiful with her pale hair up in a knot, even paler with the flour coating it. Her apron swung around her knees like an ethereal dress as she twirled between the kitchens and the counter. Her dancing was usually enough to alleviate his boredom, but it lingered today.
He crooked a finger at her.
“Truth or dare?”
Raya finished her last spin to drop a plate of cookies no one was likely to eat before closing on a nearby table. She put a hand on her hip. “There’s always dishes to wash, you know.”
“Then dare me to do them, but I asked you first. Come on.”
She rolled her eyes. “Fine. Truth.”
“Why are you working and not here with me?” Savill had hoped for a smile, but he knew he wasn’t likely to get one. The world was too cruel for such simple wishes.
“Because I sometimes like to act like a responsible human being. Truth or dare?”
He grinned. “Truth.”
Raya frowned. “How come you’re playing this game?”
“Because I’m bored. Truth or dare?”
“In that case...dare?”
Savill’s grin widened, his lips curling at the edges. He sat upright. “I dare you to sit in my lap.” He watched Raya’s face pink but she marched over dutifully. He untied her apron and draped it across the back of the couch and pulled her closer against him when she sat down. She stuck an elbow in his side, one that he ignored with only the softest of wounded noises, to get comfortable. Savill reached around her to grab one of the cookies she’d put down. “Who’s being responsible now?”
“Still me,” she defended. “Truth or dare?”
“Since we’re both sitting down and not likely to do any dishes,” he said, with his mouth full, “dare.”
“I dare you to kiss me.”
Savill choked on his bite of cookie and turned away before he could cough up the crumbs into her hair. “Did I hear-”
“If you can ask for something weird, I can to.”
Savill lifted a brow. “You want me to make this kiss weird? I will gladly do so.” He laughed when she shoved her hands at his face as he started to lean down. He took one of her arms and turned it over to kiss the inside of her wrist. Another kiss was planted on her shoulder.
“Truth or dare?”
“T-truth.”
Savill hummed and kissed her on the cheek. “Why don’t you come back to my place?”
29 for Levy/Zev cus it's been a while since we had angst
Last Kiss
“You can stay,” Zevran said. He sat on the edge of the bed, the heels of his feet just touching the floor as he swung them back and forth. “You have done too much for the Wardens already.”
“As a whole, maybe.” Leverette frowned as the excuse came to mind. There was no relief in the truth of Zevran’s words, as much as there should have been.. But truth didn’t ease the burning guilt in his stomach. Somewhere, somehow, he had caused this mess. “But not to this Warden.” His argument felt stale even to his mouth now that he said it, but Levy still found himself stuffing his pack with another set of robes.
“One Warden or them all - you do not have to go just because they ask. You owe no one nothing any longer.”
“She didn’t ask.” The fact that a letter was sent to him at all about the plans to find Alistair in the Fade was a small mercy all on its own. He still would have gone along if Meji kicked the door down and dragged him with her, but it was nice to have a warning. To have time to doubt. To fight like this. Levy sighed and found a pot of oil he hoped wouldn’t stain his staff the next time it needed polishing.
“You do not even know what you are doing! Enough mages have forced their way into the Fade, and those mistakes have only just been corrected.”
“I know you didn’t like Alistair but trying to find him is not a mistake-”
“This is not about him this is about-”
“-me being a mage?”
Zevran glared at him. “Do not put words into my mouth.”
Levy couldn’t sort out the guilt boiling inside him to figure out which part of it came from making Zevran angry. He avoided the elf’s eyes instead and finished securing a knot at the top of his pack. “I’m a Warden, Zev. I have to help them. And...and they’re both my friends.”
“And I am?”
“Terribly persuasive,” Levy admitted. He hoped it was enough of an apology. “But even you can’t stop me from going, I’m sorry.”
“And if I said please?” Zevran wasn’t glaring anymore, but there was still a hint of something behind his eyes. For some reason, that made it even harder to look at him.
“Then I’ll do my best to come back as fast as I can.” Levy leaned down to press a light kiss against his cheek.
