🍄🍄 I had the opportunity to go and view Fantastic Fungi this weekend in Ithaca... and I’m STILL trying to process my emotions from the experience.. it completely brought me to tears , it spoke right to my soul🧡🧡 First off, A BIG THANK YOU to Ithaca Cinemapolis for hosting a showing because I was really about to drive 4 hours to the closest viewing.. The mycoverse has completely changed my life, I have gone Mushroom Mad lol and that’s an understatement.. It has turned into a faith, passion, career opportunity, spirituality, and so much more that I can’t even put into words.. A literal reason for living. 🙏🏼🍄from going out into the trees and hunting for all kinds of different mushrooms, to food, to the community.. to think that I had danced in the rain (sober which is a huge deal for me) with one of the guys on the screen, and laughed listening to another man speak about his research and goals, and having felt like I was at home with family at Mycofest (and all I could really do there was smile and just take in all of the information/inspiration)..I just want to thank everybody in the mycological field for believing and sticking to it and trying to change the dialogue..
