aw heck, what happened to your toe exactly?

im putting this under a read more because it is actually really fucking disgusting and i want to scream

i have an ingrown toenail on my left foot big toe because i have a compulsive habit to snip/bite off all my nails incredibly short and it is purple and swollen and i just discovered is oozing with pus after a layer of skin peeled off of it and if i brush it against anything it will throb for hours because the nail is digging into the side of my big toe and my dad told me to just soak it in this chemical thing that keeps it from getting infected but it didn't fucking work and i am contemplating just digging the thing out except i know there will be blood and it will be painful and it's also kind of late but its so fucking painful but i don't know if i should ask my dad who is currently asleep before i do it (therefore i have to wait till tomorrow afternoon) and i went hiking for three days on rough terrain so slipping on 50 billion rocks and smushing my toe against my shoes obviously did not help the cause and frankly made my toe a billion times worse and i want to cry and i want to cut off my toe because it is really fucking painful and i don't know how much longer i can take it
