I found a really cool thing called Beepbox--it’s a browser-based music-making tool that has a surprising amount of versatility (to me at least). With a bit of fiddling and stuff I managed to make a sorta-good recreation of Prelude from Final Fantasy, though I’m certain someone with a better ear for music (and patience) would be able to make something really cool!
