Downward spiral

Our meeting felt so long Usually when we’re together time seemed to be moving too fast But yesterday, time felt so slow Time was almost at a standstill

Maybe it was on purpose But it seemed we both wanted to keep the conversation going.. right? Whatever the answer is, it was nice Like when time used to go by so fast The joking, your face, the story telling, your smile, catching up, your lips.. your goddamn lips

It took everything in my willpower to not kiss after we hugged It took everything inside of me to not kiss you to not make any of this.. weird It took every muscle and fat to close your car door

Maybe I used up everything I had too soon Because without even thinking I opened your door again And I leaned in to kiss you on the cheek Inches turned into centimeters I thought this was one-sided Then you saw what I was doing and you turned to me My lips missed your cheek and went for your lips

An addict uses drugs to escape reality Whenever we kiss I get sucked into the rabbit hole It felt so good that time seemed to rush again 10 min felt like 1 sec

On my way home there was this heavy feeling A monkey on my back Thoughts of why did I do that? I’m so stupid! It’s not fair for her The position that we’re in just got harder Then the same rush of thoughts all end with this one
