these lyrics especially- idk why but they remind me of carmilla.

its most likely that Carmilla knew Laura was special when they met and that Carmilla found something in Laura that she thought she wouldn’t find again since Ell and because of her mother... Laura is alot to Carmilla safe to say she’s her angel and she has helped Carmilla change and grow.
