Hey, Takara. I was in History class today, and we were talking about samurai, ancient warriors of Japan. Apparently, samurai were feircely loyal to their daimyos and Shogun (the military leaders), to the point of commiting ritual suicide if they were assassinated or killed during battle. They'd do anything. I was thinking that would be a cool idea for a story, but I can't write -so I thought of you. I know you usually work with Greek/Roman, but I was hoping you'd consider it. Thanks & bye, Rhett
I know jaaackshit about samurai, Japanese history or Japanese military/how it works. So no, that’s something I’ll definitely never touch upon. I’m not a fan of having to do excessive homework to not get things awfully wrong. That’s why I mostly prefer creating own kingdoms when I go into a vaguely medieval setting instead of having it take place in a country where I’d have to do history homework for. xD”
Not to mention... actually Japanese characters... there is... Ethan Nakamura. Unless we’re going into an anime fandom, which I don’t even have any current ones I’m writing for. And there’d be something cringeworthily appropriating about putting white characters into such a setting. ^^°
