Things I Love: This sort of premise where Duncan and Jenny are set to inherit the throne, interesting, twisty political and interpersonal connections, Alysanne and her sweet flower crowns, the conversations, the quick whip of short chapters, Genna Lannister.

Summary: Since Jaime and Brienne were last together, the world has fallen apart and is starting to come together again. Going north to check in on the Winterfell settlement gone mysteriously dark, they travel a Westeros whose people are making sense of life when the dead walk, when flowers are used as protection against them, and where some don't care for the gentler approach. Brienne and Jaime navigate their own fractured history, the things they've done when apart, and discover that hope continues to grow between them, even after hurt, distance, and an apocalypse.
Things I Love: The sweet tension and pain between them, Jaime’s humour, the flowers, the world building, Brienne and the children, the history simmering between them, the way Brienne sees Jaime.
