So these incredible human beings have changed the face of #islamaphobia #britishmuslim #muslimsuk #muslim #islam A few weeks ago if you would have told me that being muslim in the UK was gonna be such a positive thing for once I would not have believed you. Yesterday evening I sat watching #itvnews with an interview for a sheikh in Leeds being questioned about how the Muslim community feels being the worst hit in death toll with the #covid19. I have never see Islam portrayed positively there were no terrorist reports or the need to explain to others that there are muslims who do normal things like practise medicine, save lives and even die in saving others. What really surprised me is the acknowledgment that its Ramadan very soon. The reports concern was would there be a fatwah or declaration that muslims on the frontline would not need to fast. In all my 42 years I have never seen concern or a positive report on Islam on the news I did not know how to react except say thank you to those brave souls who lost there lives for us. There families should be very proud. I hope that through this we educate yourselves about one another and eradicate ignorance. With knowledge comes light with light comes peace.
