i forcibly split the party and they're all panicking
two have been working with or for the bad guys (varying levels of willingness & knowledge of how they're helping), and got teleported to the capital. one is currently arguing with his patron to try and keep his warlock status for a little longer, the other is giving one of the BBEG's right hand man insider information because he promised her a role as his apprentice and help reviving a long-dead friend.
the other three are in an underwater dungeon and trying to figure out where the hell the others went.
