me, looking at an indie Nintendo Switch game: Oh this looks like a lot of fun and something I would really enjoy....but I still have other games I haven't even started yet, and $20 is kinda......... mmmmaybe I'll wait until it goes on sale, or I finish a project so I can justify getting it.

I can't believe this just dropped without any warning at all. (and that, after all these years, there's still no sequel? damn and I thought the wait for Metroid Prime 4 was rough) Anyway, to celebrate the game I was obsessed with back then, here's fanart I drew of Jade 19 years ago. :x

Anyway this game is such a treasure, I can't wait to revisit it. Is Ancel still working on that insanely ambitious sequel? Have video game graphics reached whatever ideal he was seeking? (and can it then be blasphemously crunched down so I can play it on a Nintendo system?) Ah, maybe in another twenty years it'll finally be released.

It doesn't really seem right to be posting this when everything is so troubled. But sometimes you gotta believe that the storm will end regardless of how it currently looks. So please think of this as a hope for better days.

Nahri and Ali both go through a lot during the series and end up with their own share of scars. But they make it through to the other side.

In fantasy, it only takes a few brave souls to turn the tide and make things right. In reality, it takes a population. There are a lot bad things going on right now, all around the world. Palestine, India, Tigray, Colombia, Brazil... I know it can be overwhelming, but please educate yourself on what is happening, and support however you can. Amplify voices, speak out, donate, contact your representatives. Don't let it fall into silence, into the "it's not my problem." We can't solve things on our own, but together, maybe.
