X-men bullshit lesgoooo
I’m using Azalea for this media, and xyr power is being able to create and control crystals, going by the alter ego Emerald Hazard. Xe became aware of xyr powers around the time xe turned 21, and soon received an invitation to join Professor X’s School for Gifted Youngsters.
This is where my au comes in, the Cacophony AU. I call it this because I’ve sorta taken different parts of the X-men canon and made my own out of it (and given how the X-men canon is handled in general, I’d say this isn’t unprecedented). It primarily takes place after Days of Future Past, in the fixed timeline. Most of the mutants that Professor X was able to contact reside there, even managing to get Deadpool to stick around to help out. In fact, he and Azalea become odd friends, along with Teenage Warhead and Yuki. Xe also becomes friends with Bishop, Storm, Beast and Ice Man. In this au, Kitty Pryde is transmasc as a nod to Elliot, going by Shadowkat instead, and is also friends with Azalea.
One of the new students includes James Proudstar, aka Warpath. He and Azalea meet, and become friends. Given that James only had like, five total minutes of screen time, it was up to me to define his character. He’s sort of a mix of Jay and Luca, he’s generally down to Earth and chill, but has his outgoing and competitive side.
