@muteauthor compliment serpentine eyes of gold: "You have really pretty eyes."
Crowley turned her head towards the sound of Mute. She heard the compliment that he gave her as a small smile crossed her lips. Nanny didn’t like to remove her glasses often for her own personal reasons. But she felt like she didn’t need to wear her own glasses when it was just her and the child she had come to be so fond of. Crowley was fully aware of what her eyes looked like and could make people perfectly ignore that fact, it was still nice to hear from someone she cared about none the less.
“Why thank you, Mute. You’re compliments mean the world to me. Make Nanny feel like a pretty woman when you compliment her eyes like that. And you have lovely eyes yourself as always my dear.”
muteauthor: (bc this thought was bugging me) "Nanny. CROWLEY." Mute gingerly rested his hands on the demon's shoulders. "You are potentially the greatest thing on this planet, the most illustrious, the brightest light I've ever been blessed to see. I do not have faith in god, but if he's created anything as wonderful and kind and loving as you, then there must be something to it after all. You are perfect and I have never once deserved you. But god am I grateful to have had you in my life."

The demon really had no idea what to say. His mouth was just hanging open as he tried to find the right words as he listened to him. Honestly, that was probably the nicest thing that someone had ever said to him. Really it came to a close second to something Aziraphale had told him over the many years they had known each other but hearing this from Mute struck a special chord in him somewhere. Having helped to raise the kid when he was his Nanny all those years ago endeared him to Mute. The kid was gonna have a special place in his heart.
That didn’t mean this caught him off guard any less at hearing someone say all of that to him. Crowley was so glad he was wearing the sunglasses right now because he could swear he could feel himself getting a bit misty-eyed.
“T-Thank you, Mute. That’s too kind,” Crowley managed to choke out after a minute of actually trying to speak.
muteauthor: A text from an unknown number comes in. [Hello, Mr. Crowley- I am Emma Grace. I work for Mr. Hallowes. I hear u are like his demon dad. He is drinking bubble bath. Plz plz plz help ur son I don't know how to stop him. plz talk some sense into him. Thx! ]
@muteauthor
“…”
He cannot believe this is a real text that he is getting and that he has to read with his own two eyes. Crowley really cannot. It’s like he short circuits for a moment before he responds.
[???]: Tell Mute that he better stop drinking bubble bath right this instant otherwise his dad is coming over faster than he can blink. I mean it. No bubble bath. Don’t make me come over there.
muteauthor: "....Dad, I'm concerned about Aziraphale. I saw him eating silica packets the other day. And cherry pits. I am uncertain as to his limits as a supernatural entities, but it does not strike me as wise. It discomforts me to watch."
@muteauthor
“So first I find out that he’s eating those little packets you find in jerky bags. Next, I find out he’s eating cherry pits too? My Go- Sata- Someone. I’m not sure if I wanted to know this, Mute. Oh, none of that must settle right in the stomach even for an angel. Hurts my head. Giving me an honest headache. I might need a nap before I can actually process as to why he’s eating things that should not be consumed in the first place.”
