Sacred Economics with Charles Einstein - A Short Film
If there are no gifts, there is no community.
We Are All In This Together
"To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." - Steve Prefontaine
In all areas of life and throughout all generations, the secret of "the best" is found in togetherness....
Artist: Ben Lee
Team Building Exercises
Demonstrations of many great games that inspire collaboration and teamwork in people. Highly recommended in any collaborative setting, from family to office to neighborhood to Planet Earth. "In sum, the dominant theme of human evolution may have been the expansion of various modes of social co-operation (including co-operative modes of competition), which have been rewarded with commensurate bioeconomic benefits. To reiterate, competition and co-operation are not mutually exclusive explanations for human evolution; both played an important role in shaping our evolution. Nevertheless, the thesis here is that increasingly potent (and selectively advantageous) forms of social co-operation may have given our ancestors the competitive edge." - Dr. Peter A. Corning
The Oneness - We Are All One!
"There is no such thing as independence in nature. The whole of nature is a unified system of inter-dependent variables, each a cause and a reaction, and existing only as a concentrated whole"
What is Real Love - A Sufi Perspective
Sufi Master Shaykh Hisham Kabbani speaks at an interfaith event about the reality of human beings, the meaning of real love, tolerance, acceptance and the human potential. "The major focal point for us to understand is the importance of the human being to be living in peace on this mother earth." "Tolerance is not enough. You can tolerate people to a certain extent, but most important is tolerance and ACCEPTANCE. You have to accept them whatever they are. You have to tolerate them and accept them. Not only tolerate them and not accept them and say they 'no, they are wrong'. It's not enough to build bridges between communities. You have to ACCEPT their presence and existence"
"Spirituality is to exhaust yourself by carrying the others difficulties and give them what you can offer for them in order to make them live in peace and happiness"
Question:
What is true love?
Team Work Is Fascinating!!
Proper teamwork is always awe-inspiring to us. It is a wonderful thing and a great show when so many people are so in sync, if it's a dance, a musical performance, or a hundreds of bike riders so precise and careful about their interaction with each other. How they very precisely restrict themselves in order to create a magnificent greater whole. Also ever noticed how in these things we tend to notice and begrudge even the smallest flaw, anyone who 'ruins' the dance?
The Meaning Of TEAM. Together Everyone Achieves More!
If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself. "LET'S DO IT!" is more POWERFUL than: "I'll do it" or "You do it". Simply stated: Teamwork is less ME and more WE
"This cyclic evolutionary process of maturation can be seen in the way hostile, competitive ancient bacteria evolved peaceful collaboration that gave rise to larger and more complex nucleated cells through a cooperative division of labor. All fungi, plants and animals, including humans, are made from these cell cooperatives, which themselves went through the process of hostile competition for resources before evolving into multicelled creatures by the same process of learning collaborative division of labor. That very same evolutionary cycle is now driving our competitive human nations to collaborate as global family." - Dr. Elisabet Sahtouris
