His lips part, and his eyes widen. You watch as confusion flickers across his features, unable to tell if you just complimented him or insulted him. But you know he recognises that teasing tone of your voice, the kind you use when you mock him to try and get a rise out of him. And so out of habit, you watch as an indignant red colour begins to crawl up the shell of his ears and pool in his cheeks.

The dumpling he was holding in his chopsticks falls to his empty, gravy-stained plate with a single, soundless bounce. 

“What? Big baka… energy?”

“Yeah.”

“Did you just call me an idiot?” 

“No, dummy,” you laugh, affectionately placing your hand over his. “I called you a big idiot.” 

His nostrils flare. He’s not about to take that lying down, and you know it. He’s a fearless warrior on the battlefield, a brave soldier prepared to fight to protect everything he loves; he’s not about to let you insult his intelligence and take a hit at his ego without getting back at you for it.

“Well you- You’re-” He fumbles for the words, face turning an even brighter shade of red that’s now creeping down his neck. It doesn’t help very much to convince either of you otherwise of your teasing allegation.

After five seconds of being unable to come up with a decent retort, he slumps back down in his seat and heaves a loud, tired groan.

“Whatever. Call me what you want, but you’re stuck with me for good. This big idiot isn’t ever letting you go.“

“I know,” you grin, picking up his dumpling with your chopsticks and pushing it against his reluctant lips. “And I won’t have it any other way.”

Heeello! Finally decided to listen to Thanatos Night and picked Seth cus he seemed like my type, thank you so much for the translation! I was just wondering though, what's the difference between the first and second season? Is it like, an alternate timeline of the same character/alternate universe or is it a new main character entirely?

Helloooo! Honestly i’m not sure if it’s the same timeline. From the second season I only bought Nia and Duran. Nia’s it’s hard to say because well he’s treated lots of girls the same way x.x As for Duran I never ended up translating it in the end but he shows signs of past heartache/pain and the main character in the CD is definitely someone new. 

That’s all I can really say but season two is A LOT shorter than season one. I hope that kind of helps? ^^;

You can hear the other warlords as they leave for their rooms, their rowdy bickering gradually softening along with their footsteps. You try to listen out for them, hoping that no one will come back and find you in this compromising position with Yukimura, but your thoughts promptly scatter when Yukimura releases a hot breath into your ear, causing you to shiver.

“Don’t worry,” he says in that voice he always uses when he knows just what you’re thinking. Slyly, he trails the tips of his fingers down your naked back, enjoying the shaky exhale you release in response. “They won’t come back if we keep quiet enough.”

You nod meekly, clamping your lips shut as a moan threatens to escape you when he tugs your hair back to tip your face up and run his tongue down the column of your throat. It’s hotter than usual today. Maybe it’s the steam rising from the hot spring, or maybe it’s because you’re in the men’s bath area of all things. You don’t dare imagine what would happen if another man—worse still, another warlord—stumbles in on the both of you like this: Yukimura pinning you against the bamboo divider, his leg pressing in between your legs and running his hands all over your bare, reddening flesh.

But you can’t bring yourself to focus on all those worries. Not when Yukimura is kissing and sucking at the base of your throat, the sting from his bites marks on your body. He slowly makes his way down your body, lips never leaving a spot untouched. A hand reaches up to grab at your breast, kneading and massaging it in the way that he knows gets you aroused fast, and once your nipple is hard he takes it into his mouth, sucking and letting his tongue roll over it as if he’s tasting a sweet in his mouth.
