this might be overly meta of me but sometimes i get emotional about how the League of Villains would feel if they knew about their fandom
like. all of them fought so hard to be remembered, to make their stories heard, to make something of themselves
and in-universe, there wasn't a lot of change
spinner's book and ochako's quirk counselling program are the biggest impacts left by the league in their world. change that people either won't know came from them, or a story told that will undoubtedly end up controversial and possibly censored
Endeavor never faced consequences. The hero ranking system was never abolished
and yet.
and yet and yet and yet
somewhere out there, these murderous forgotten outcasts are loved
every story told. every piece of art. every time someone tried to rewrite their ending
every hero au. every redemption au.
every fucking piece of todoroki family fanart with a noticeable lack of endeavor
every consideration of quirk discrimination every au where all for one dies screaming
every au where magne lives where jin lives where himiko lives where tomura lives where touya lives
a bunch of lonely people out there in a world so different and yet so alike to the one the league knew all came together and poured immense amounts of love into the LOV
