Title: The Museum of Small Wonders Location: The Museum of Small Wonders For: ANYONE Time: Weekday Afternoon The Museum was a once-house that had been turned into a museum through the years. Marion had worked diligently, acquiring different strange pieces that he was able to take time and write something about each item. The house itself had been built in the early 1800s - sat outside the Southwoods with the boundary of trees reaching towards the house, encroaching on the yard. The black gothic victorian exterior gave way into the rich lime-green interior that would sometimes break into white or black brick depending on the room. Each room had a different theme. Strange toys. Cryptis. A journey in imagination. Surreal artwork. The brick basement held storage. The four story tower dominated the center of the home. Of the home, only the fourth story room in the tower, the kitchen on the first floor, the study one the second floor, and the bathroom on the third floor were locked to visitors. It was a quiet day, and Marion sat at the counter where he’d welcome guests. He unboxed new t-shirts and journals labeled with the museum silhouette and slogan. He’d add them to the store after he documented each piece of inventory. He wasn’t expecting anyone to come into the museum today - as there wasn’t a school trip or tourist reservation - but he’d been surprised before. Just in case, he left in his sound processor while Herne dozed in his bed to his right.
