Toshiro hurried through the 13th Division’s headquarters, barely acknowledging the various salutes he received on the way. Not that he didn’t notice them though, he was just in a hurry. He had worked hard for his position and enjoyed the respect it afforded. Should anyone fail to pay him respect though they’d hear about it eventually.
Why was he in a hurry on this fine day? He had received word of the whereabouts of the traitor Gin Ichimaru and he’d be damned if he let that snake get away again.
Stopping outside Ukitake’s office, he let some spiritual pressure out so the other would know who was visiting, if he didn’t already. The other was a Captain too, so he paid respect despite his impatience and knocked on the office door and waited, shifting slightly on his sandaled feet, trying to remain calm.
