i love Monsta X with my whole heart, they were the first kpop group i got into

their music still bops, but it’s feels like they’ve taken a step back in their last two comebacks

like they maturity of the music has been knocked down you kno

the lyrics remind me of recently debuted edgy groups who have yet to find their sound

maybe this is Monsta X’s sound, and that’s fine, i just feel like in previous comebacks, (The Connect, Shine Forever...) they’ve had more depth to their songs

now the lyrics sound like they’ve been thrown together and they are still trying to establish themselves

i’m so proud of them, i just feel like they have more potential than is being let on
