do you have any tips at all for cosplayers doing their first cosplay? Love you and all your cosplays they're amazing!!
Utilize whatever you can, and google/youtube search tutorials; from sewing, to makeup, to props! Make use of local thrift stores and see what you can modify for your cosplays, and try not to pick something too difficult for your first project. You'll learn in time, and mistakes are the best way. :)

yo now i honestly don't wanna sound rude here but can you please explain to me why straight people who support gay rights are getting abused for it? i honestly do not understand
people arent getting 'abused' for supporting gay rights
they're getting mocked for a variety of offenses ranging from thinking that queer rights begin and end with gay marriage to dictating to actual queer people how they can seek representation
we don't want your 'help' if it means being political tokens for white liberals to get their progressive rocks off. if you think 'supporting' gay rights means telling gay people how to act so they, like, deserve your help, then you're doing more harm than good.
what straight cis people need to do is stay out of the way, support the efforts of actual queer people, turn the spaces they already occupy into safe spaces, and educate themselves about the actual issues. this fight aint about you and if you genuinely mean well you can either help specifically within the parameters set out by the people you talk about helping or you can stay on the sidelines
as for the mockery: I don't think some online ribbing is unjustified or too much to tolerate in response to generations of oppressive bullshit from society at large. like the reason POC comedians can mock the shit out of white people--we've got it fucking coming.
