Plus, a client had come in with a report of a thief and Ghost had spent two hours combing the streets for a the missing hot pink bag, only to find out the “robber” had just mistaken the bag for their’s and promptly returned the item to the police station. With most of the day gone, Ghost had to rush to get her paperwork finished and then was forced to run her errands late. Plus, Winston, her Klefki, stole her house key and wouldn’t let her leave before agreeing to take him along. It had been a long day and Ghost was ready to go home and curl up with the new book her brother had brought over as his rent for the night.
However, Winston had other ideas, as something caught his eye and the small pokemon went speeding off across the street. Quickly , Ghost chased after him while instinctively reaching down for her pokeballs. Realizing that she had left them at home, she hurried after him, hoping that she wouldn’t lose him in the crowd. Weaving and dodging through the crowd, she followed the happy jingle of her pokemon. Ghost stopped when she found the object of her Klefki’s fascination: A cart proudly displaying many shiny ribbons.
“Come on, Winston, we’re going home,” Ghost ordered, only to be disobeyed by the excited Klefki who let out a defiant jingle.
Sighing, as she was not in the mood with argue with the most stubborn of her pokemon, Ghost turned to the cart’s owner and asked, “ How much for a ribbon?”
