Nina had been searching for months since she came to America. She knew he was in this town, she knew her father was hiding out somewhere, she just didn’t know where. It wasn’t until she overheard a pair of vultures talking about how they were going to share the “bleeding metal bender’s body” the next day that she knew her Papa was in danger. She pleaded with the vultures to take her to her father and the second she saw him, her heart dropped.

Her Papa was bleeding out in a back alley with another man’s dead body across from him. There was also a crushed gigantic metal dumpster on top of the dead body that she assumed her father put there. Nina immediately ran to him, cradling his head in her hands.

“PAPA!! PAPA WAKE UP! Proszę, nie zostawiaj mnie ponownie!!” She screamed in polish as she thought about what to do. All his wounds were gunshot wounds, one in the side of his neck, multiple in his thighs, and one in his chest. Nina then immediately called upon the vultures once more to pull out the bullets that remained in her father’s body. She then took off her shirt and started ripping up pieces of cloth to push against the open wounds.

“Zostań ze mną, Papa...” Nina begged.
