Why does this keep happening.
Kunimi’s world is dark, not in a metaphorical deep sense or anything, no its just literally dark and really warm. He breathes out a soft huff but the warm air he’s released is trapped there around his face and in the fabric of the jacket caught around his head. He makes one more feeble attempt at tugging the garment over his head but after a few short tugs it doesn’t come loose. He’s already giving up and has half a mind to just try and pull the jacket back down over his head and go home with it. He knows he can’t but Kindaichi has already left and there’s next to no one left lingering around who can help him out of his dilemma. This isn’t the first time this has happened either, nor is it something that happens only on occasion, it really happens all the time if he’s being honest. He wouldn't admit to it as Kindaichi’s the only one who’s ever really witnessed his outstanding laziness and unwillingness to put the effort into trying to take it off like a normal person.
He thinks he’s saved when someone does open the door and waltz in, at least he thinks so, but if this is Oikawa he’s more doomed than saved and knows he might not hear the end of it. Still it could be Kindaichi coming back in to get him since he’s taking so long, but he doubts it. Still he calls out his name hoping to get some sort of response in return.
“Kindaichi?” no response “Not Kindaichi” he states, “Who?”
To be fair he doesn’t care who it is just if they’ll give him a hand so he can just go home without spending anymore time or energy trying to yank this jacket over his head.
