The seasons were finally changing, the snow has gone and now you are finding yourself sitting at a window with a book in you hand more than you'd thought. It was never a secret, you loved the rain but hated the storms. You never expressed this to Loki, it was something you made sure never came up.
It's been a while since there had actually been a thunderstorm, and not just rain showers.
"We could sit in the garden if you'd like love, it's beautiful out." Loki sat a bowl of fruits he cut up for you on the floor. He's been using his magic more freely, and has been taking his time looking after you, showing you things you thought you would never experience.
"My book will get wet Lo." He rolled his eyes, something that he picked up from you.
"As long as I've been living, you don't think I have common sense of all things. Come on, you've been cooped up in here for days, you need to get out even if it's only for a minute."
He picked up all of your things including the blanket you had yourself wrapped in and walked outside to the middle of the small garden.
"Sassy much." You followed behind him slowly, you hadn't been out in quit sometime. It's been days.
You watched as he cleared he rain to create a dry walk way and place you both of you to sit.
"Now, this is perfect." You seated between his legs and but the bowl of fruit between your own.
"Read out loud." You happily obliged, as he massaged your sides.
When Allison had been resurrected and brought back to life, it was like she had a second chance again, but this time she couldn't live and die according to the rules of others. No, after months and months of counseling and therapy from Deacon and his sister, Allison concluded it was time for her to move forward with her life and begin pursuing other things. She enrolled into university not too far from home, Beacon Hills, so she'd be in contact with her father and friends, yet still maintain some distance from the drama that caused her demise in the first place. The first week had gone smoothly as she grew familiar with her space and new environments. She had decided to declare pre-law for her career path, seemingly still wanting to stick to the family motto, protecting those who couldn't protect themselves, but just in a slightly different manner.
Huffing, Allison blew some hair out of her face as she tried to locate the book she needed for her class in the massive campus library. Finally upon finding it, she made her way over to the nearest private table, setting her things down before spreading her notes and laptop out on the table, organizing her things. After a while she glanced at her watch, figuring it would be the best time for a quick coffee break, the brunette gathered her things and headed to the cafe downstairs and bought her drink, only to turn and slam into someone, spilling her drink all over them. "Oh my god...." She whispered in shock, mortified beyond reason.
there were few people she left the rig for, some made it so far as to signal with the fire and step foot on the rig; lincoln always wished to see that people got settled when he led them to the safety of her clan and he would spend some time there before going back to the shoreline, back to his travels to find others who wished to flee the wars on land. a few times in her younger years she had met lexa here, their talks only ever about business; duty. their alliance that luna’s clan be left to their peace and lexa never be challenged by the fact that luna was alive out here, another nightblood who could threaten to overthrow her. all she wanted was her peace, all she wanted was for her people to be left to the lives that they had chosen for themselves by coming to her. there was one other person she ventured to the shorelines to visit and this was not a meeting pertaining to duty, not to wars, but to an unbreakable bond, a friendship that had been with her since they were both children growing up within trikru.
this was a personal meeting, not one of business, and she found herself waiting anxiously in the dark, waiting to hear approaching steps, hoping caspian would come, that nothing held her up and kept her from meeting with her here. while she waited she watched the water lapping against the shoreline and she smiled softly, enjoying the night and the less familiar scents of the woods in the area. the flowers and trees perfumed the air and made the salt water of the sea smell more fragrant where it touched the sand; it was different from the scent out on the rig. out there she couldn’t smell the ocean in the same way, more so the heated metal of the structure and the rust, the salt that clung to everything and still...the soft fresh breezes off the water. but it was so different smelling the ocean when it was perfumed by the flowers and the soil. it was something that luna enjoyed while she waited.
While Embla paced, Lilith remained seated, expression neutral and unchanging, ever watching, draped elegantly in the chair as her blue eyes followed the young woman in her footsteps back and forth along the floorboards, not entirely unlike a tiger in a cage. If a tiger could be prone to a...self-questioning existential crisis.
“No,” Lilith answered simply, “If chains were so easily forgotten, they wouldn’t be chains. They leave a mark. An...imprint. On everything you do. But in my experience, looking over your shoulder...well, that’s generally what helps keep you alive”

Asta wants to play with Hamlet
-------------------------
Asta knew about him and his twin sister, she knew who their parents were. But that didn’t stop her from talking to him, well at least when she wasn’t too shy. “If you let me in... You’ll only want me out.” She says as she turns away, her gloved hands clasped together tightly. “But at least you’ll share the pain with someone else.” Asta didn’t want him to answer, she wanted to make a quick getaway. “You will live the life you haven’t lived, hear the voice you kept within... I will turn you inside out.”
“Look... I know it’s not a big deal, but it-“ He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “It’s a big dea for me, okay?” He said. “If we’re gonna be living together, we have to make compromises. Which means, the couch cannot be red.” He states, crossing his arms across his chest.
