Mikazuki feels more at home not in the room he stayed at in the inn, but instead in the dense forest of ‘Wonderland.’ The name of the forest slips his mind, it being a strange foreign word that he had never heard of prior to coming here. With only the rustling of trees, and sun pouring through the leaves, it’s here where he can think on what to do next.
It was also here where he awoke to find himself not in a different time, but a different world. Surely there must be some clue on why he landed here.
He had been warned that the path here changes frequently, but he didn’t need to follow it for a way in or out. Made for battle, and remembering his trail was something he was used to thanks to his countless sorties he led.
His feet stop suddenly, and he hears the cluster of branches shaking and footsteps behind him. While he figures that the inhabitants here aren’t dangerous, the unknown world he’s in tells him to be cautious of his surroundings. He turns around, a small smile forming on his lips as he calls out.
“You can come out. You are not planning an ambush, are you?” A short laugh follows his words, as he continues. “I would enjoy some company if you would like to reveal yourself.”
