New faces in town were quite the rarity. Nobody knew about the town’s existence, and even those who did didn’t really stay for long, deeming it to be just one of those boring small towns not worth enough to spend more time than the usual lunch break while passing through. Some, however, decided to stay after all, drawing attention of course, mostly out of the residents’ curiosity. Now Killian was never much of a person who’d bother with such things unless it was a villain, but those were a rarity these days. The town was quiet, most of the folk living there enjoying their happy endings, himself included.
When he entered Granny’s that day for his usual morning coffee before joining Emma in the Sheriff Station down the main street, he couldn’t help but notice the newcomer to the town, a young woman from the likes of it. He had seen her a couple of times before, the curiosity getting the better of him, so he joined her by the counter, sitting down next to her.
“Lovely day, innit?”
