i saw somewhere that dream apparently hired a makeup artist for the face reveal video and that’s definitely the difference between that video and any other photo of him

very sweet and endearing to think of him doing so but sadly I think that was the facial feature that stuck out the most to a lot of people that had less than nice things to say about him.. all he needed was some blush and bronzer :/ cuz he’s a cutie

yeah i think the makeup had something to do with it but also he held himself very strangely in the face reveal video- not even just the angle, it was just clear that he wasn’t entirely comfortable which is to be expected. also lens distortion, lighting, etc. makes it look a lot different in comparison to the more candid shots we have of him at a further distance, which are what we see repeated and get used to which is why it’s jarring to go back to the face reveal and see them next to each other
