just thinking about how much time RTE spends curled up on Blitzwing while he's recharging.
how they don't even fidget because protecting him like this soothes them so much. just laying on him, listening to his god awful snoring, which they've gotten used to quickly enough-- it's like a purr to RTE now. how he might be warm or cold depending on the conversation they were having when he dozed off. RTE who rarely recharges, hates doing it, doesn't want to leave either of them vulnerable and doesn't want to deal with the nightmares, just laying there doing their job because Blitzwing is their whole purpose, even more so than the Decepticon cause, and that's saying something.
and if they eventually drift into stasis because they're so tired and Blitzwing is safe, that's good too.
