PCSX2 cheat codes for the NTSC-U version behind the cut.
So, it seems like there were plans for Jennifer to use enemy weapons (maybe she could pick them up the ground and throw them like they could) that got abandoned. Many of the weapons have icons and are functional, some I had to hack. Others are just nonfunctional (”decorative weapons”). I guess they got overlooked by other hackers because they have Japanese names and note icons.
Also, all of them make the same “CLUNK” noise so I made a cheat to change that. It reorders the sound bank for the knife weapons---it’s what all unassigned weapons use. Some very interesting, unused weapon SFX discovered that way, like Jennifer yelling every time she swings. I’ve included instructions if you want to change the WHOOSH sound.
Press L1+L2 and they’ll appear in your inventory. (Drop any important items beforehand.) Disable cheats you don’t want by typing // in front of “patch” and saving your .pnach file.
//xx: replace with 00-09 to change Jennifer's costume. (00-normal, 05-doll, 06-goth, 07-tennis, 08-nurse, 09-octopus)
//yy: replace with 00-04 to change Brown's costume. (00-normal, 01-crab, 02-doll, 03-chair, 04-goth)
patch=1,EE,207A32B4,extended,000020xx
patch=1,EE,207A32B8,extended,000024yy
(PCSX2 cheat code. NTSC-U version. Not playtested.)
*Note: If it’s a new game, you need to have stepped inside the 4-Leaf Clover room at some point for this code to work. You don’t need to unlock the costumes.
//Chapter Jump (enable, start a New Game, then disable)
//replace xx with: 01-04,0A,0B,0C,08,05,0D,06,07
patch=1,EE,207A3210,extended,xx
(PCSX2 cheat. NTSC-U version. Not playtested.)
Individual chapter codes+explanation behind the cut.
To disable a PCSX2 code, just place // in front of each “patch” then save your .pnach file. Not disabling it after starting a New Game means you will always load to that chapter after completing it.
