Must we always litigate which fictional character in the fictional conflict is the problematic "real villain" to be condemned and which one is the innocent cinnamon role to be absolved of all wrongdoing? Can we not from time to time simply enjoy watching fake people stuck in an impossible situation deal with it badly in their own interesting ways?
I remember the first time I saw End Roll fanart my first thought was why is Basil from OMORI burning down a church?
Thinking about Her (kinetic sculpture the Clock of Dreams by Evelyn Rosenberg).
I used to think that the face was kind of creepy and I still do but now that I've safely reached a point in my life where I'll quite possibly never get to see it in person again I kind of miss the creepy face.
Sometimes I think about the endosymbiotic theory for the origin of eukaryotic life and go a little bit wild. What if I tried to eat you but you survived inside of me and we became a new type of being changing the course of life on earth forever.
My TMA entity alignment opinions for Vargas characters
Please note that my TMA knowledge is mostly secondhand from fanfiction and my friend who really likes TMA and I have never actually read JtHM only Vargas. With that out of the way let's begin.
Nny's probably Slaughter aligned given his propensity towards random acts of violence. Maybe End but I think that the way he kills people is to mundanely violent for the End. He's got a lot of spiral and web shit going on too (frankly all three of these guys do, the waste lock system is spiral aligned) but is too absolutely miserable about those to be avatar material for them. Corruption is also on the table given his role in the story and his house which is consistently describe as incredibly filthy and tends to infect you with supernatural parasites if you survive going there but it's really hard to beat the Slaughter for a guy who's mainly scary because being around him comes with a constant risk that he'll murder you super hard.
Edgar's got to be at least somewhat Lonely aligned given how he's lived his life up until the events of the fic and his mildly attention repellent properties. That said in the diaryfic when he's so far gone that he's calm again he makes a halo out of teeth and wings out of skin which is not very lonely aligned behavior so I'm open to other suggestions.
As for Scriabin, Corruption is probably the best fit for him given his status as supernatural parasite and strong contender in the worst boyfriend for Edgar competition but Stranger considering that his original purpose was to hollow out and replace Edgar might also be a good fit. Possibility even Spiral given how much he likes to gaslight Edgar and the way he kind of views perception as defining reality because his reality is defined by Edgar's perceptions. Not Web because I don't think he's actually good enough at successfully manipulating people (read: Edgar) to be web aligned.
Some of my favorite fictional dog boys (and one dog girl) as dogs:
Denji: Dog of unidentifiable breed you found wandering around the dumpsters behind an apartment building in bad part of town. Clearly has some trauma given the way unfamiliar men make him cringe away and growl but he's very loving and surprisingly good with children. Concerningly eager to eat used tampons and other such disgusting garbage.
Sakuya: lab-newfie mix. Can hold an egg in her mouth without breaking it and knows all sorts of tricks. Her mistress likes to send her to the store to pick up her groceries for her even though they've called her to tell her that dogs are not allowed in the store. Sakuya is very polite at least even if she sometimes chooses the wrong items.
Ye Zimu: Border collie. Well trained but seems lonely. Looks at you from the other side of his invisible fence with such sad eyes and while he doesn't whimper you think he wants to. You heard he might be a police dog someday and you think that would be a damn shame. Such a magnificent creature should be rescuing little Timmy from the well not serving as an instrument of an unjust system. Very curious and loves pork cutlets.
Since peanuts are legumes with some nut-like properties rather than true nuts, wouldn't it be better to call them nutpeas?
