I didn't name him until I was older obviously, but he is named after the anglacised translation of the toy bird, Siméon, from the series Ernest et Célestine, my fav books as a child. (I, too, have lost Gideon many times. Also his head fell off once.)

AHAHAHA no it was definitely pre-styled. I would have gone nuts to try and create something like that. Not that I wouldn’t have gone to great lengths to achieve it if the pre-styled wig wasn’t an option. You get the idea though.
