x’intana fhey

a priestess of the order of nald’thal. she researches the arcane arts and is often found poking around in old ruins. she rarely participates in funeral rites, and she doesn’t really do anything expected of a priestess, so prelate yayake often wants to kick her out of the order. x’intana is sometimes seen accompanied by a little mummy, which is kind of creepy already, but even creepier is that the mummy sometimes talks in two different voices. 

her father, x’fhey nunh, left gyr abania thirty-five years ago to flee the reign of king theodoric. he took his branch of the X tribe and settled in an unclaimed piece of land in wellwick wood by the yug’ram river in eastern thanalan. the settlement grew into a little village as wandering sunseekers joined them. this village was completely destroyed in the seventh umbral calamity when the shard of dalamud tore a ravine into the land. x’intana had enlisted in the immortal flames as a mage and was at carteneau, and she had survived by sheer luck.

beholding the devastation of her home, all she felt was an enormous emptiness. she didn’t grieve for her family. she doesn’t share her elder brother x’lhea nunh’s desire to rebuild the tribe. she doesn’t feel frightened by her experiences at carteneau, nor does she share in the grief of the mourners during funeral rites held by the order. everything had become strangely numb and muted since the calamity, and even now x’intana cannot use dynamis to perform limit breaks.
