ok, having pondered it for a few days, i am now less hostile towards the idea of grace staying on Erid. i do think that it offers lots of intersting seneros and chances to explore eridian culture, however thats not what its used for and i think thats my problem. (we know they have schools and that they thought grace was a hero and would do everything he asked, but we're not given an explanation for how this fits into their culture) (i also know that we only get one chapter there but i also want to know more about the eridian culture over all)
the whole book is here is a problem and its going to be fixed. here is a new and more dangerous problem how will we fix it?
and then the ending is we fixed it for the erdians: you know how - also earth have fixed their problem don't worry about the details, its fine, its fine

I’ve spun my wheel of characters and landed on Twoflower, who is a discworld character , and my favourite thing is that he sees people’s reaction to money and presumably sees other people using money, he does not know how ridiculously rich he is by everyone else’s standards
he is a millionaire who thinks he’s a low payed working class tourist from Bes Pelargic and is quite funny
