so i'm going on this trip to take part in this academic competition

and it involves us staying overnight in a hotel a fancyyy one at that

but like, i'm the only girl in a team of five other guys and our male gifted coordinator

and my parents were freaking out about this

and my dad was going like, "i'll go with you because reasons"

and i was like, "seriously dad? seriously?"

and he was like, "you'll have to video chat me your room and to make sure everything is alright"

and i was like, "good lord are you going to do this for the rest of my life?"

then my mother asked if vik was going

and i told her yes

and she was like, "oh she'll be alright"
