I am screaming at the confession of s4 buddie possibility and what we almost had! We weren't crazy. We were not overreacting. I just slap myself at the frustration of fox fumbling this moment for us.

But that's okay! Because I feel like we will still win. I can only imagine that later down the line, maybe next season, we will get another epic moment. Hopefully, no one gets shot again. My heart couldn't take that (yes, it could but, you know), but something that puts Buck's life on the line. I think back to when Buck asked Eddie if he remembered the events of when he got shot. Eddie replied he remembered the moment, falling thinking this was it, and then blacking out. Buck was like, really? That's it? Cut to this new traumatic event, and maybe Buck has to go somewhere dangerous, and nobody is sure if he'll be coming out of it. Buck says he can't get out or on the verge of giving up or his strength is gone. Eddie gets on the radio and confesses he lied to him about that moment. Tells him about Carla's message and remembering Buck's face covered in his blood, reaching for him with the last of his strength and realizing he was in love wuth him. He'll tell Buck that giving the will reveal was his only safe way of giving him his heart. He'll order him to keep fighting and come back to him or even go after Buck because he knows what his heart wants now, and he's never going to let another chance get away from him again.

Something to that effect will happen and what began as a loss three seasons ago, will eventually lead to an epic win, a double whammy for us in that future peril. It will be compounded by Buck's awakening this season and Eddie repression addressed, feeling incredibly cathartic and justified.

I love hearing how much care the writers and the actors have for their characters. I know no matter what stories they will tell in the future, they will give them the respect and love they deserve.
