let’s call it what it is. williams is making a financial decision. albon has a seat in f1 thanks to his connection to eastern corporations who are trying to influence the western markets. you see the same thing with yuki, who has honda backing and is keeping lawson out of a seat at red bull. hell, look at what red bull thailand have done with horner’s role at red bull- they can just pay off anything. it’s disappointing but this is what f1 is now. logan never stood a chance.
Yeah, you're right in that from Vowles' and Williams' perspective it was most definitely a financial decision, but given that all financial decisions are in the end made on a risk-benefit analysis I'm going with this one being on the...dicey side?
