And here they are all together, my Inquisitors!

Inquisitor+Jossy = thunder :)
So sorry that it took so long! I hope you still like it! It was a great thing to write! Thank you!
Skyhold hadnever been a particularly warm place to begin with. But when a storm ragedacross the sky it became downright freezing. Not because of the snow or thewind – those he knew from his childhood home. No, what made the stronghold evencolder during a storm was the terrifyingly loud echo of thunder that rattledthe shutters and made their chalices ring.
Alecgrimaced when yet another clap of thunder chased across the sky. He wonderedhow anyone could sleep through a storm like this. One glance to the other sideof the bed, though, reminded him that exhaustion could knock anyone out. Therewere still dark circles beneath Cullen’s eyes and he looked like he was writingmissives even in his dreams.
It wastempting, to just wake him up to exchange a few words or maybe a couple ofkisses. But Cullen got so little sleep that Alec felt guilty for even thinkingabout it. So he merely leaned over and pressed a gentle kiss to Cullen’stemple. He didn’t react but that only made Alec smile when he slid out of theirbed.
A shiverran down his spine when a gust of wind blew in through the cracked shutters. Acloak would be a good idea because as warm as the room was – the hallways were icyhells. The stone of the castle seemed to enhance the unpleasantness to a degreethat was uncomfortable even for him.
Alec closedthe door quietly behind himself and slowly made his way through the eerilyquiet Skyhold. His goal was the kitchen because he knew their chief cook hadhis favourite tea delivered the day before. He hadn’t asked for it but they hadbeen chatting when Alec helped carry the heavy sacks of flour to the storageroom. It was a thank you, if an unspoken one.
Only a fewpeople crossed his path to the kitchen, most of them guards on their way to orfrom their shift. They greeted him respectfully even though he must have lookedlike a mountain man or one of the mercenaries that decided to join their fight.Alec had talked to each one personally to make sure that they weren’t going tostab them in the back. So far he didn’t regret his choice.
The kitchenwasn’t empty when Alec entered. He almost lost his grip on the hand which wouldhave ended in the door slamming close and probably waking the people sleepingabove it.
“Josephine,”Alec slowly closed the door and frowned over at his friend. “What are you doingup at this hour?” Just like Cullen she looked exhausted and just like hislover, she refused to allow others to see it unless it was absolutely necessary.
“Inquisitor! Is there something I can help you with?” And just like that she straightened, her eyes growing attentive behind the tiredness. Alec shook his head with asoft chuckled.
“Josie, it’sAlec, remember? It’s just the two of us,” he took off his cloak and hung itacross the back of one of the chairs. A kettle already hung over the fire, steaming slightly. A glance at Josie told him that she must have had the sameidea as he had.
“Right,Alec,” she smiled and her shoulders dropped their rigidity. A rueful chuckleescaped her lips. “It is so hard to turn off the ambassador, you know? Wealways have to present a strong face to the outside world. Sometimes I wonderwho I truly am anymore.”
“I knowthat feeling, Josie,” Alec nodded. He followed the familiar steps of preparinghis tea while she watched him. “But we need to remind ourselves of who we are. Takeme, for example. During the day, I am the Inquisitor, whether I wanted to be ornot. But in the evening? When I’m alone in our rooms? There I’m just Alec, theguy who likes to listen to the fire while he knits. Or whittles. Or reads.”
“Or triesto get the Commander to stop working for once,” Josie interjected with achuckles. Alec tilted his head to concede the point. She sighed. “I enjoytaking walks. Sometimes I just want to curl up with a glass of wine and a goodbook. But there is so much work to do.”
“I know,”he took his tea and sat next to her on the bench. “But what will happen if youalways just work? If you never allow yourself a moment to just breathe andrecover your strength?” He stopped when Josie just nodded with his words.
“I know, Iknow,” she rubbed a hand across her face and didn’t flinch when thunder madeher cup rattle. It seemed like she’d gotten used to it as well.
Timespassed, their tea cups grew empty and still the storm roared outside withoutshowing any kind of lessening.
“Tell youwhat,” Alec said after he finished his tea. “When you are done with your tea,you will head up to your room and get some sleep. Tomorrow, once we are donewith all the meetings, you will meet me in the gardens. We will take a walk anddecide on what book to read so that we will have something to talk about duringthe next walk we will be taking. Sound good?”
Josieducked her head but didn’t hide her smile.
“It doessound good,” she said a second before another thunder clap rattled theshutters. They looked at each other before breaking into laughter.

“You change… Everything.” It escaped before he could deny it, one of the most honest things he had ever said to her. She took in a sharp breath, and looked at him with utter certainty, raising one long, beautiful, strong hand to his face with astonishing gentleness, and he turned to her. She leaned in, closer and closer until he was certain he could drown in her presence alone. She paused, searching his eyes, question in her gaze that he had no chance of denying. Everything was her and she could have everything.
She reached up and pressed her lips to his. Soft and cool in the mountain air, like rose petals against him, and sweeter than any moment Desire could have prepared him for. In an instant, he was on fire, ignited by a touch so profoundly gentle he could barely be certain she had touched him at all.
And then she pulled back.
His mind cautioned as his hands were already reaching out, wrapping firmly around her hips and pulling her back, back to him, pressing her lips back to his as if he meant to drown. He clutched her to him, bending her body against his, matching her form to her weapon and yielding to her grace. He was burning against her, tongue hot against hers, and every part of her a cool balm to his fever. She clutched at him, nails scraping through his tunic, on his neck, gasping into him as she met his fevered pitch.
He worked his knee between her thighs and nearly came undone at the heat pooled there, burning even through their clothing. He rocked against her and she moaned, desperate and sweeter than he could ever have thought possible, and he joined her. Her nails scrabbled for purchase against him, demanding more and more and how could he not give it to her? He pulled her closer, pressing his own need desperately against her, and her hand that had been working into his back moved to his hip, cupping his ass and pulling him tighter, harder, against her, as though there might still be space left.

Hand kisses!
Dumb little speedpaint that took way too long because Photoshop kept crashing 🙃
Thenera is the kind of person everyone thinks is super regal and graceful. And then as soon as you get to know her, bam. Inappropriate jokes and terrible humor. Solas has to stop himself from rolling his eyes pretty regularly.
