I like Mungrove in contrast to Harringrove (I still love Harringrove, don’t worry) because I feel like they would have the most- amicable reletionship out of literally everything Billy has going with any other person in the world. Because the think is, I am convinced, if they knew each other they were perfectly fine acquintances.
Because like, satanic panic aside, there is no way Eddie, as a drug dealer, would be anything but cherished by his fellow highschoolers. (Because it’s what you do with people who deal hard drugs in small towns in the middle of nowhere – you cherish them and you pray they never get any better oppirtunities in life.)
So yeah, I bet that every jock in Hawkins has at least a begrudging respect for Eddie Munson and I imagine he and Billy would actually meet often for bussiness-related purposes.
That being said, I love the contrast of how Billy would be with Steve – always fighting, always on edge or getting extremely emotional, basically unable to have quiet, normal conversation

Billy with Eddie, probably most relaxed we ever seen him, just talking about some mundane shit, perfectly content to bitch about grocery store not carrying their favourite beer or whatever.
