I love language differences between ships... it's one of my fav things abt sincaraz 😭 I keep replaying jannik's speech... where he wants to start in english so carlos can understand him but carlos just tells him that it's okay, he can speak italian 😭 it's so tender and sweet. like yes surely he'll pick some of it up but he just wanted jannik to be comfortable 😭
in the rpf way I always imagine them like this! playing w language! it's nice how both of their languages are similar... but also I think of jannik speaking german (+ his dialect) w carlos and carlos just sitting there all heart eyed. or their terms of endearment! teaching each other their language! there's so much to write 😭
