sincaraz x hollanov (and their languages)... idk if it was just me but when shane told ilya to speak to him in russian even though he couldn't understand him, just to help him... it made me think of jannik's rome speech! where he begins to start in english but carlos tells him that no, italian's ok! sure, there are similarities between italian/spanish (maybe carlos could've picked it up better too, idk) but carlos knew that whatever jannik wanted to convey to him would've been much clearer in jannik's own language. more comfortable too :3 some more hr/sincaraz brainworms to think about

with my rpf goggles on. thinking abt secret relationship sincaraz with jannik's girlfriend as pr. and maybe, they've been at an ends. it's been a lot for carlos. and he's beginning to think that maybe love isn't enough. that what they have isn't sustainable - the lying, the time apart, having to see jannik publicly announce that he's with someone else. and carlos' number one fear is not being able to live a life he truly wants to live. he'd be betraying himself if he were to continue on with jannik - but the love is so good and so beautiful and could it be enough?
