A while ago when I first tried to make a living as an indie author I started a thing on the site formerly known as Twitter that I ended up calling the #DailyK. The “K” stood for one tho…

After reading the Tumblr post this Poll was linked to, what do you think? Would you be interested in following and reading a blog like that?
Hey, guys! So, I’ve been thinking of starting a WordPress blog (because WordPress is more official than Tumblr and you all know it) and focusing on my original writing that has to deal with more Urban Fantasy elements that I like to write about!
What’s this mean for you? Well, if you like that stuff, then I would be making posts and short stories about things such as modern-day werewolves, urban witches, the history and current outlook on cryptids, and other fun things like that!
It’d be a blog dealing with the modern outlook on the occult, stories about different mythologies and religions, and all the other things I said as above. I’d also be working on eBooks and novels that deal with the Urban Fantasy genre, as well. For those of you who don’t know, Urban Fantasy is a genre that deals with fantasy in today’s modern times.
There’s also the chance of newsletters, exclusive content for monthly pledging, and a whole lot of other cool things I’d be doing! So, what do you think? Interested? Tell me if you are!
We are in a Ragnarok and Infinity War mashup
I’ve given this a fair amount of thought. After I calmed down I mean. If tumblr is going with their new policy about banning all “adult” content, I will not stay here. This is not about nsfw content. I don’t even like it and I hardly ever post sth nsfw. No, this is about not supporting what is wrong. This is about supporting people who make art, or make a living from this hellsite, and now all of their followers and content is going to be lost after probably years of being here. This is about the disgusting misogynists who think “female presenting nipple” is a problem or sth negative, not Nazis, bigots and haters all around this site. This is about using stupid algorithms that target innocent posts, while pornbots remain intact. I don’t care that my blog might be fine or unaffected(it will be affected though). Because this is going to affect others. Because this is disrespecting users. Because this is censorship. And as someone who has lived with so much censorship and oppression, I assure you that things won’t get be better. They’re only going to get worse.
Still, I’ve made great friends here and they mean so much to me. So, I’ll stay here until all the migration’s complete. I think pillowfort is a suitable alternative for tumblr. It has great features and it is so similar to here. I can’t register there right now. I have to wait until they make it free. But then I’ll migrate there. For now I’m trying(and failing, because it’s stopped many times and I had to start it again) to back up my blog. I made a wordpress blog and I’m also trying to import my blog there(there is no progress since morning). And I’m going to gather all my metas and tidy them up a bit to post them later on pillowfort. I also made a twitter account for fandom purpose. There is also a private network for Tom and MCU fans that I joined today. I won’t probably be much active in these places and I’m still going to be here. And after I move to pillowfort, I’ll still be in touch with tumblr friends who don’t want to go anywhere else.

Tumblr has targeted contents like Thanos in IW, and has unleashed its incompetent algorithms on us like Hela unleashing her zombies on Asgardians. So we’re going to unleash Surtur at them, and watch tumblr burns as we migrate to another place. Because our community, our fandom is not a place, it’s a people.

Wild Goose Chase – Just a Girl Trying to Figure It All Out
I think a lot of bloggers and Twitter-users are in the process of doing features on bi books at the moment, so my picks will likely be similar to theirs. But, hey, more posts means more exposure for these great novels.
I only started reading diversely last year so there’s always more to find. This is only a snapshot of the great books out there. I will undeniably look back at this down the road and find the list has expanded.
Fave Bi Books I’ve Read:
Far From You by Tess Sharpe (review) – This was my first bi book. Bi MC with chronic pain and recovering from an Oxy addiction, lesbian love interest, nonlinear past and present narratives, and a murder mystery. This one is a tragic story but the rest on this list aren’t.
Noteworthy by Riley Redgate (review) – This was my first Netgalley ARC. Bi, Chinese-American MC from an impoverished family, masquerading as a boy to join an all-male a capella group at her performing arts school, discovering her bisexuality over the course of the book. Some readers have found parts of it to be heteronormative, though that was not my interpretation personally. However, there are some concerns about the lack of trans characters considering the kind of narrative this is, so tread carefully. I still really like it, but it’s not going to work for everyone.
