AFRICA 2016-17!

Back on the road again! This time my destination is Africa. Will start the trip in Madagascar, then fly over to Mauritius, and from there will go to mainland Africa. Planning to travel overland from Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) to Cape Town (South Africa) via Botswana and Namibia. Will celebrate my birthday with lemurs on Madagascar and New Year somewhere in Namib Desert… After Cape Town going to visit Durban on the Indian Ocean coast. So, by January 2017 my list of visited countries should go to number 86!

I've just finished the intro-trip around Australia and tomorrow taking my longest non-stop flight from Sydney to Los Angeles - 12075 km / 7503 miles (before that my furthest direct plane ride was from San Francisco to Auckland in 2008 - 10521 km / 6538 miles). Time difference between East Coast of Australia and US West Coast is 19 hours, so I will have this Friday twice.

The last 9 months I've done nothing but traveling (as well as some fun time in Saint Petersburg), so now it's really hard to imagine any kind of routine even if it's only going to be for 2.5 months. Hopefully I will finally find some time to write this blog and share the stories from my past trips. Posts about Australia will be published later on. First on the list is South East Asia, South and Central America, Caribbean and Europe.
