“You can’t fall if you don’t climb, but there’s no joy in living your whole life on the ground.” ↟unknown . ↞෴↞෴↞෴↞෴↞ ༽⁜༼ ↠෴↠෴↠෴↠෴↠ . If you’ve never been indoor rock climbing or bouldering before, the premise is fairly easy. You pick a color then try your hardest to stick to only using that particular color of rocks to make your way to the top. Each climb is different and the difficulty level varies. What’s hard to see from this picture is that the wall I was climbing was at a slight inward slant, causing one’s whole body weight to be at the mercy of your own strength to hold it. My fingers ache, my hands are blistered and honestly, women who complain about high heels should really wear a pair of these climbing shoes, but all the pain is absolutely worth it to have known you pushed yourself. There was another wall that took me 3 times to reach the top because you had to climb under, over and around a protruding rock formation... but I did it. Sometimes you just gotta push yourself further than you think you can go. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to turn to jello and melt into my sofa.
